Dr John Kastrissios

Dr John Kastrissios was a foundation board member of SouthEast Primary HealthCare Network in 1993 and is the Vice-Chair for 2010. John has been a GPQ board member since 2001. He was the recipient of the Australian General Practice Network's 2008 John Aloizos Medal for outstanding contribution to the Divisions Network.

John has been the Principal in a group general practice in Springwood since 1986, and is a general practice supervisor / mentor involved in the training and supervision of GP registrars and medical students in general practice on behalf of CSQTC and Griffith University Medical School. He is also a Principal GP involved in the Australian Primary Care Collaboratives program and Member, NeHTA Clinical Leads Program.

John is a general practice representative to Queensland Health including membership of:

• Queensland Health Clinical Informatics Steering Committee
• Queensland Health Enterprise Discharge Summary Steering Committee
• Queensland Health Primary and Secondary Care Interface Program

 John brings broad experience to the board including the following areas:
