Dr Melissa Cahill

Melissa joined the Board of Directors at SouthEast Primary HealthCare Network in 2010.

Dr Melissa Cahill graduated from UQ in 1994. She entered general practice in 1998 and received her FRACGP in 2000. 

She started at her current practice of Doctors Grand Plaza in 1999 and has been practice principal since 2001. She loves working in general practice and teaches registrars and medical students.

Her participation in the Collaboratives refuelled her interest in chronic disease and she now works with her team to improve systems and outcomes for those of her patients who suffer from chronic disease. 

She has two beautiful children, Kieren 4 and Drew 2 and a very supportive husband, Denis who helps her find that nice balance between work, play and family.
