Open Minds
It is with great pleasure that I can announce Open Minds will be the host for a free Legal Clinic for people experiencing mental illness. This has been made possible via a partnership between Open Minds, Queensland Advocacy Incorporated (QAI) and the Queensland Public Interest Law Clearing House (QPILCH).
The Legal Clinic will provide free and confidential legal advice to people who experience mental illness who are accessing supports through a NGO or Queensland Health in the Brisbane region.
The Clinic will operate fortnightly on Tuesdays between 11.30am - 1.30pm at Open Minds Woolloongabba office. The first Clinic will be held on Tuesday 25th October and operates by appointment only.
If you have a client interested in accessing the Legal Clinic please encourage them to contact Open Minds on (07) 3896 4222 and speak with Marisa Tamakaha to book an appointment.
