Greater Metro South Brisbane Medicare Local (GMSBML) has been established as a part of the Australian Government%u2019s National Health Reforms to drive improvements in delivery of primary health care, coordinate a wide range of high quality health programs and address local health care needs and service gaps.
In keeping with its vision GMSBML and its partners are focussed on an ongoing primary health care model that will deliver %u201CIntegrated Health Care for All%u2019. GMSBML is committed to working collaboratively to deliver accessible high quality health services in metropolitan and southern Brisbane.
We are currently recruiting for a number of new positions in our organisation.
This Role %u2013 After Hours Service Coordinator
The primary objective of this exciting new role is to support the Australian Government%u2019s Health reforms aimed at ensuring all Australians to have access within the community to after hours primary care. Key to this is:
%u2022 providing planning, implementation, funding, coordination and stakeholder engagement for local primary health care providers to deliver accessible and efficient after hours care
%u2022 identifying gaps in service delivery
%u2022 establishing and managing productive relationships for a wide stakeholder group
%u2022 developing and project managing implementation of after hours strategies
%u2022 Developing and managing a substantial financial budget
%u2022 The ability to work flexible hours within a 38 hour week
The Person
The person most suited to this role will be committed to the health and wellbeing of the community and have:
%u2022 Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in Health or Public Health and Project Management
%u2022 Demonstrated experience working in a human service delivery environment
%u2022 Demonstrated experience in project management with a focus on contract management
%u2022 Success in building and maintaining productive relationships
%u2022 Effective written and oral communication skills
%u2022 Effective organisational skills
Remuneration
Remuneration is in the range of $55k - $60k (depending on experience) plus 9% superannuation
