Important Health Alert - Hepatitis A
Logan Public Health Unit advises that it has issued a hepatitis A alert to a workpalce in the Logan community. This alert has advised workers to speak to their local doctor about obtaining monovalent hepatitis A vaccination. Monovalent hepatitis A vaccination is offered free of charge to contacts within two weeks of their exposure to a case of hepatitis A infection to prevent disease in the contacts.
