38 New Community Projects to Tackle Indigenous Health Challenge
The Australian Government is funding 38 community-driven projects around the nation to encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to quit smoking, eat healthy, exercise more and better manage their own often chronic health issues.

Smokers Butting Out in Droves
Australia will soon have the worlds toughest anti-tobacco laws to help accelerate the nations decreasing daily smoking rates, Acting Minister for Health and Ageing Mark Butler said today, following the release of research by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare that showed that daily tobacco use is down to a record low of 15.1%.
